It is recommended that you go through the following 10 steps in studying about the nuclear threat to Vermont.
1. Look at the State Map above to see the target nuclear areas in Vermont.
2. Look at the general expected fallout map to see where Vermont
(according to the
prevailing wind pattern)
gets fallout from other states.
3. If the state that you live in is anywhere EAST of any of the following 6 states in the prevailing wind pattern then look at the states in RED on the INDEX of STATES for

This mapper is on someone else's web site so that you will need to save this address in order to return here if your back button doesn't work. However, you want to be sure to go the mapper site and calculate the damage to probable targets (cities) around you.

9. If you like, you can look at our Honor List for groups that we know of that have an existing rural location. Most of these, however, have no direct interest or preparation in regards to nuclear survival. At the bottom of this page is a Directory of our contacts in Vermont. Many of the local entries for states were listed because of their Y2K concerns and may not have any nuclear concerns.

Hello. My name is Levie Gray. I am, among other things, a dancer, a bodyworker, a rebirther, a co-counselor, a builder and a therapist.
My vision is to find a handful of like minded people to form a small intentional community with an earth centered focus on sustainable living, holistic healing, spirituality, and creativity. I value working collaboratively and consensually.
I live on approximately 45 acres of beautiful land in Johnson, Vt. The land is mostly wooded and has a pond and a small brook with a waterfall. I have built a small house and shop, a small greenhouse with a Massage / Hot Tub, a Sauna and a small hydro- electric generating plant. I have cleared and planted 2 garden plots and have started construction on a larger ( 32'x 48' ) structure intended to be used for communal housing and a dance/movement and workshop space. There is also a sweatlodge by the brook and access to miles of x-c skiing & hiking trails.
The land adjoins a farm owned by Johnson State College, a small state liberal arts college. The town is also home of the Vermont Studio Center, where there is a colony of visual artists and writers.
I would love to connect with other dancers, healers, gardeners, parents, etc. to discuss these dreams and to explore possibilities.
Your thoughts, comments and feedback are welcomed!
Levie Gray, M.A.C.P.
