Rhode Island (North Kingston) State TEAM Leader
North Kingstown, RI
This is information about the Rhode Island preparedness group, in
North Kingstown.
Y2K Prepared Rhode Island is a preparedness group based in southern Rhode Island. We are currently producing and distributing general information on Y2K, and preparedness information to enable interested people to quickly put together a personal preparedness plan. More material is being posted to our web site.
We feel it is important to work within the community and get the word out about Y2K and its many challenges, so that everyone, the elderly, the disabled, the infirm, and the average person might best prepare themselves. Many people don't have the means to set themselves up in a secluded mountain retreat. We are firmly committed to staying engaged in the community, working with local and state governments whenever possible, and to help our neighbors see this thing through.
We have information on food and water storage, and also on alternative technologies, organic gardening, seed saving, canning and other aspects of sustainable living. We are currently putting together a list of skilled trades-men and -women willing to assist with personal preparation.
David Floyd is also the
